BIOGRAPHY
Becky began her employment with the Washington State Patrol on December 1, 1986 as a Fingerprint Technician 1 assigned to the Identification and Criminal History Section. On January 1, 1988, she promoted to Fingerprint Technician 2. Becky promoted to Fingerprint Technician 3/Supervisor on June 19, 1989. On July 1, 1996, her position was reallocated to Fingerprint Tenprint Supervisor. She promoted to Backlog Elimination Project Manager on July 1, 2001. Becky promoted to “Acting” Criminal History Records Manager on September 19, 2003. On December 8, 2004, Becky promoted to Criminal History Records Manager.
During her career, Becky was actively involved as a facilitator for the Diversity in the Workplace Training program for several years. In addition, she has taught Sexual Harassment Training, and Fingerprint Identification Training classes throughout the state. Becky recently completed the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Leadership in Police Organizations (LPO) intensive 3-week training program and also completed the 2-week faculty development workshop. She is one of a team of LPO facilitators in the WSP who are presenting this important program to all agency supervisors, managers and command staff.
Prior to working for the Washington State Patrol, Becky worked for the Montana Department of Justice in the Identification Bureau as a Fingerprint Technician. In her personal life, Becky and her husband Gary have 4 grown children, 7 HORSES, 2 DOGS, 2 CATS AND A TURTLE! She is a devoted wife and mother.
She is actively involved with the Tumwater High School Equestrian Team, CC Riders Mounted Drill Team, and The Church of Living Water. In addition to her activities and spending as much time as possible with her family, she enjoys reading, crocheting, sewing and horse back riding.
