BIOGRAPHY

Kay began her career in law enforcement in 1996 when she was hired as a Receptionist/Records Clerk.  Later she became a Police Clerk; and in 2001 she was promoted to management as the Police Administrative Supervisor.  She also is a Certified Property & Evidence Specialist and is in charge of the Property and Evidence for the Port Townsend Police Department.

Kay has served on the LEIRA Executive Board as West Side Regional Training Chairperson, Executive Board Director, and First and Second Vice President.  She is a member of International Association for Property and Evidence and has attended Crime Scene training and Instructor Development and is also a member of the Crime Scene Team at the Port Townsend Police Department.

In her spare time, Kay enjoys crocheting, traveling, spending time with her grandkids and fishing with her husband.
