BIOGRAPHY

I have been with Skagit County since 1992, first with the Skagit County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office from 1990–1992 as an intern with the Victim Witness coordinator and then as the receptionist. In 1992 I took a position with the Skagit County Planning and Permits Center as a Staff Assistant until 1998. In 1998 I was hired by the newly formed consolidated 911 center, Skagit 911. Originally hired as the assistant to the director, it soon became apparent that the center would need to form a records unit to handle the volume of warrants and protection orders that where going to be kept at the 911 center. I transferred to that unit and have been with the records division ever since. I recently celebrated my 10 year anniversary with Skagit 911 and my 16th year with Skagit County. I was born and raised in Skagit County and have spent my entire life here. I attended school in Burlington and Skagit Valley College where I obtained my ATA Paralegal degree in 1991.

I live in Mount Vernon and I have three grown children Brian, Nick and Kelsey and two grandchildren McKenna (Kenna) and Shane that I adore and enjoy spending my free time with.
