LEIRA is designed to promote training, education and networking for not just records staff but
evidence techs, managers and other support staff. We try very hard to incorporate classes that
pertain to both our personal and professional development.
Providing ongoing educational training for members is a major part of LEIRA’s philosophy.
Each year LEIRA schedules two conferences on either side of the state. These conferences provide
key networking opportunities as well a diverse set of training opportunities. In addition to the regular
training, LEIRA offers additional educational opportunities through regional training. While our regional
training is still in the development stages all courses are designed to enable our members to be more
effective within their organizations.
