I wanted to write a brief
  hello and welcome you to
  the new LEIRA website.
  This website has been in
  the works for the past
  couple of months.

Your LEIRA Executive Board wants to
insure its members of an informative,
     updated, and efficient website.
     The LEIRA Executive Board looks
forward to having members register online
     for upcoming training conferences,
     purchase memorabilia and have members
communicate with each other using the
     LEIRA website....

      Judy deMello Lifetime Achievement Award
The Judy deMello Lifetime Achievement Award is designed to recognize LEIRA
members who have made an outstanding contribution to further the mission
and goals of LEIRA. On June 6, 2004, the Executive Board voted to rename
the Outstanding Achievement  Award to the “Judy deMello Lifetime
      Achievement Award.”

Any LEIRA member may make nominations for the Judy deMello Lifetime
Achievement Award by submitting a letter nominating the person to the
2nd Vice President for presentation to the Executive Board.  To be nominated
for this award, LEIRA members should have made outstanding contributions
to LEIRA. The Executive Committee will consider all nominations and will
present the award at the next conference.

For further information on this award, please contact your LEIRA 2nd
      Vice President.
