The Washington State Law Enforcement Information Records Association (LEIRA) has a distinguished reputation and history and I am extremely honored to have been elected
to serve as the 2011 LEIRA President.

Many of you, like me, started out in
your organizations at the entry level and
through the years have seen much growth
and change.  Through those years LEIRA
has seen growth and change as well.  The    tough economic times we are facing in our    respective agencies has not bypassed LEIRA.     As an organization, we have faced lower    conference attendance for the past few years    which has obviously affected our revenue.

  Judy deMello Lifetime Achievement Award
The Judy deMello Lifetime Achievement Award is designed to recognize LEIRA

Any LEIRA member may make nominations for the Judy deMello Lifetime

2nd Vice President for presentation to the Executive Board.  To be nominated
for this award, LEIRA members should have made outstanding contributions
to LEIRA. The Executive Committee will consider all nominations and will
