  1. Advance individual knowledge and techniques by sharing and exchanging professional experiences and information related to criminal justice support services,

  2. Maintain liaison with the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs (WASPC) on legislation related to criminal justice support services, and

  3. Encourage professionalism and high standards of performance among criminal justice support services personnel in the discharge of their responsibilities.

LEIRA members have many opportunities to participate in the Association’s volunteer activities by participating in committees, providing or hosting training, conference planning, and serving on the executive board.
