Instructor: Karen Horowitz
Karen Horowitz is a deputy prosecuting attorney for Thurston County. She leads Thurston County’s Public Records Unit, which was formed to coordinate and centralize responses to public records requests. In this role Karen provides technical and legal assistance to County Staff who respond to records requests, and advises on the Public Records Act, Court Records, and Records Retention and Management. Karen is a graduate of Rice University and the University of Washington School of Law.
